My Brain is Like Cable T.V.

children, Family, photography, Tampa

On the last day of the 2011, my daughter was chatting about all she was thinking, planning, wanting and dreaming about at that moment in time. During this stream of consciousness she paused and said, “Mommy, my brain is like cable  T.V., there’s always more than one thing on.”

And you know what? She’s right.

Here’s to 2012 and our plans, wants, hopes and dreams!

Happy 2012!

This photo is also my entry for the photo-heat connection at Kat Eye Studio.  I selected this image because it catches my daughter in a pensive moment; a girl with a lot on her mind. I just look at it and think about how grown up she looks and how mature she can be (sometimes).

  1. Wonderful image and heart connection Kathy. What a fantastic quote from her too! It captures her beautifully – love the fingernails, the body language. So glad to have you link this in to the Photo-Heart Connection!

  2. Great photo, love how the light is catching her hair and her pensive expression. Her comment about her brain being like cable tv really made me smile…I feel like that sometimes too!

  3. I love this because it makes me stop to wonder, what is on her mind, especially with the way her hand is covering her mouth. I feel the connection to it. The angle is perfect on it.

  4. Such a sweet entry for the photo-heart connection. I love the angle you’ve captured her from. I need to remember that cable TV analogy, next time my mind feels like it’s about to explode with too much info.
